I have been preparing for this trip for a few weeks now. I have been taking Fritzy on trail rides to get her in shape and to make sure that my confidence issue's with her could be resolved. I can 100% say that I am totally confident in this decision. Fritzy and I have had so much fun trail riding and I have not had any fear riding her at.all!
I have my trailer packed and ready to go, my luggage packed and all I have to do is load 'em up and hit the road!
It is time to bond closer to the horses and family that we love so much. We are just days away from fun, sun, trail riding, play day events, camp fires, tons of amazing food and just a rip roaring good time!
The only thing that is different for me, is that Brandy won't be there. She is my quick, little barrel pony, and I have pretty much taken myself out of the running for the "Rodeo Queen" title. Fritzy is not a barrel pony, she has to be the most uncoordinated horse I have ever ridden, but we will see what happens. Maybe the Fritzer will up her game for me!
I will be gone for a week, and I am sure I will have lots of stories to tell and picture's to share!

Each Sept, about 20 of us girls do a "Cowgirl Weekend" an it is absolutely my most fav ride of the year! Nothing like women & horses!
The first year I was riding Windy, I was apprehensive about taking a 3 yr old for a long weekend so I took both Blue & Windy and broke her in slowly.
