I have to apologize. I am feeling terribly bad right now. I have not blogged, nor have I been visiting anyone's blogs. I don't want to make excuses, but to be totally 100 percent honest, I have been burnt out. Burnt out on blogging, burnt out on the remodel, burnt out on unpacking, just totally.burnt.out. I just needed a break. I need a break. I have basically put a stop on unpacking and anything else that has to do with the remodel until after the New Year. I need time. Time to myself. Time with my OH, which I have not had much of due to his absolutely crazy work schedule. Time with my fuzzy ponies, which I have not gotten to do anything with except for treating abscesses. Time to relax. Time to enjoy the Christmas season, which I did not get to do last year due to personal reasons that I could not explain on my blog. Time to be with my family. Time to just do what I want when I want. Time away from the computer. Time to enjoy my new house. Just time.
Does that make sense? But that does not stop me from feeling extremely guilty for not blogging or visiting each and every one of you. Believe me, I feel bad. Very bad. I have been a very bad blogger. But this break is needed, in a bad way.
Before I sign off for an extended break, I will give a quick update:
Fritzy's neck abscess healed up well after almost a month of treatment. Now she is fighting a hoof abscess.............it never ends. Brandy and Chance are doing excellent. The crazy Aussies are crazy as usual. The 2 tuxedo monkey's are best of friends, which I never quite expected due to Dakota not being too fond of Madison when she first came home. But that was to be expected. Now they are inseparable and everywhere one tuxedo is, the other is not far behind. I was very excited to decorate for Christmas this year. Although the kitten and the Christmas tree have gotten in a few fights, which the kitten won. I can't tell you how many ornaments I have had to put back on the tree. Only one ornament did not survive. And I do not put breakable ornaments down low when I have youngsters, but she still managed to get a breakable one down. Madison did manage to find her own Christmas present under the tree, so now it is somewhere up high. Damn nosy kittens.
Work is good. It has been quite cold this year so I have been freezing my skinny butt off. I am ready for summer.
I am going to finish my much needed break. I am hoping to be back to blogging sometime after the New Year.
I want to wish each and everyone of you a wonderful Christmas and a most fabulous New Year!!

A break makes total sense :). I'm kind of on a break too, though I pop in from time to time to catch up and maybe post a bit. I had a baby, and let me tell you, THAT is a time sucker, a very worthwhile time sucker, but a time sucker none-the-less! Merry Christmas to you and yours :) :)

Dont feel bad about taking a break, I think you deserve it, been so busy over there!!
I hope you're feeling better very soon... taking a break is definitely not something to feel bad about. Enjoy it, and have a very Merry Christmas!
Yes, you do deserve some time to yourself and a break from all the extra stuff that doesn't need to be done. But I can't lie, it sure is great to hear from you and receive updates.
Yes, kittens are so fun when they discover the joys of playing in a Christmas Tree. lol! Our youngest cats, which are both over 3 years old now, still like to play on the tree, but tend to fall out of it instead because they're so fat. lol!
Wishing you a very Merry Christmas and a very Happy New Year!

I understand completely your need to take a break. You have a heck of a schedule, especially when you're on the road for shows. Relax - no guilt allowed.
No guilt necessary, although I have felt it too, with not keeping up with other people's blogs or comments. But I keep telling myself, I'm doing the best I can. We all get tired and need a break from feeling pulled in too many directions. Please enjoy your rest.
Take as long as you need! I am sure when you come back we will be here. and meanwhile though you will be missed , I believe all will understand . Merry Christmas and Happy New Year
