Couldn't resist this Halloween horsey costume to share with you all....bless the temperament of this dear horse.....I hope you have a fun and safe Halloween weekend!
Howdy Paint Girl fans! This is Pony Girl again with a final update on her Arabian Nationals adventure....at least, until she rolls back into the Painted Creek, where after a few days of rest, I'm sure she'll share the good, bad, and the ugly with you all!
PG has been SO busy, in fact, too busy to give me an update! I do hope she got to meet the blogger friends she was hoping to connect with!
She did say her whole body just aches and her back hurts, but not as bad as she thought it would. The show is going well. Today is the last day of the show. Many of their horses made top tens and final cuts. She said they are all exhausted and can't wait to get on the road home.
One another note, she is pretty sure she broke her toe/foot. On the part of your foot that your toes connect to, the bruising is almost gone, but the pain is pretty bad. She said she's fine on solid ground but when she steps wrong or walks on uneven ground it hurts really bad, as well as when she touches it or try to move the little toe. I can't imagine that walking all over the showgrounds all day long is helping matters, either!
I hope the drive home is blue skies for you as well, Paint Girl!
Before I sign out I want to thank everyone for their hellos and well-wishes. I do miss my horsey blogging friends, but life has some new adventures for me right now and I'm trying to balance everything. Just finding time for my horse (in person) has been challenging! But I gave him lots of kisses and hugs from you all. Perhaps Paint Girl will let me pop over and do more guest posts from time to time!
Happy Trails!!

That costume is awesome!! But i feel kinda sorry for the horse though.
Thanks for the update, I hope the toe isnt broken and hope we get to hear from you more often too.
Sounds like shes doing good other than that broken toe. Ouch ouch ouch!
It seems to me that sister of yours is one tuff chickie! I know I wouldnt hold up to that much work on a broken foot! I hope she gets home safe and sound...well, safe and as sound as she is now anyways:)
Oh! And that horse costume is just to die for:)
Happy Hallowee to you both!
Adorable costume ! Poor Paint girl andher foot Ouch! Hope she has a safe trip home .And looking forward to any guest post you do, hope the new adventures oy are on are good ones and life is good for you
The costume and the kid are just too cute. The horse is a saint!
Sorry to hear the Paint Girl's back is aching and her foot hurts. That really sucks. If they're stalled the same place they were last year she's had tons of miles to walk. I wonder if they let them longe horses in the warm-up for the Pavilion arena when that arena wasn't in use. That would have helped some if they did.
From what I've seen they've had a great show. That's pretty cool.
I hope she gets some real time off when she gets home, she's going to need it.
Thanks, Pony Girl, for the updates. It's been good to hear from you.
Thanks for the updates, Pony Girl. We miss you.
Poor Paint Girl, hope her back and her foot get well quick! Sounds like she had a good show though. That's good. I hope one day to go to Tulsa.
Looking forward to her show posts.
Dang. I hope it's not broken. Maybe it's just sore because she hasn't had a chance to stay off it and really let it heal.
Happy Halloween Paint Girl if you're reading this!
I love the halloween costume. I wonder what would have happened if I had tried that on my horse when I was a kid. He might have decided that was the last straw.
It is great to hear from you, Pony Girl!!! I hope life is wonderful for you and that you find some time to be with your boy from time to time, as well!
I am excited to hear about Paint Girls adventures. I hope her toe is feeling better :( Safe travels to her and her group!!!
That horse in sheep's clothing is so adorable and good natured, I almost CRY when I look at that photo! Can I even believe it? yes, it is downright adorable, and that is one special horse. I just want to hug it from afar.
I hope Paint Girl can fix her toe! Already so much time has passed! I'd hate for her to have this end up being an injury that haunts her for years to come. Shoe doesn't need any more of those! I will send some good healing thoughts her way.
Ouch on the foot for your sis, Yikes! And that is an extremely well behaved little pony, LOL, Love that costume!
Good to hear from you, Pony Girl. I've missed reading your blog, too. I'm glad that life seems to be treating you well, though.Maybe Paint Girl can do an update about what Pony Girl's been up to, too. hehe!
Sure hope Paint Girl's foot is ok. If it's broken, driving home was probably a real struggle. gah!
Take Care,
~Lisa
