Have I ever said how wonderful my OH is? I mean how really wonderful he is? That he is the best ever? Yep, he went and did it again. He saved me, saved me from computer withdrawls that I have been having. He went out and bought me a new computer on Christmas Eve. I got to go with him and pick it out. We brought it home and I hooked it up. BUT there is one thing missing. I need to get neighbor J over here so he can transfer all my info from my old hard drive onto my new computer. I am feeling a little lost without everything I had. I am also having a tough time with this Windows 7. It's a little confusing, especially to someone that really only knows computer basics. But that is okay. I will figure it out and before you know it I will have forgotten what I was used to.
I am also having a hard time with the new keyboard. I had my old keyboard for at least 12 years and it was just so right to me. This new one is strange. The keys sound different, I keep hitting the caps lock key, I also keep misspelling, which actually could be caused from moving up to a normal sized keyboard~ remember I was pretty used to typing on my small Blackberry! Change can sometimes be hard, but once I have everything set-up the way it is supposed to be, I am sure I will love it.
I am glad Christmas is over. I hate to say that because Christmas is my favorite time of year. But due to certain circumstances in my life, it was just not the same. I just could not get into Christmas. It just seemed like whatever could go wrong, did go wrong. I am not one to be a downer, nor do I like negativity, so I will leave it at that.
My OH was very creative with his Christmas presents again this year. I swear he comes up with the goofiest stuff. Sometimes I wonder how he can remember something I told him I needed many months before, but he can't remember what I told him yesterday or a week ago. Men! They sure can be goofballs. So a couple things he got me that will back up the goofball theory~ a box full of brownie mix, cookie mix, muffin mix and one of my favorite candies, Mike and Ikes in red and blue flavors which are my favorites. I think he was trying to tell me something though with all the boxed mixes~ that he wants me to make him more brownies, cookies and muffins! Like I said before, goofball. He also got me more hand and toe warmers, a tire iron (I had been wanting one to keep in my horse trailer since I don't always use our truck to pull it with) and the friends truck I borrow for long hauls, she didn't have a tire iron in her truck. So now I will have one no matter which truck I use! He also got me bullets for my Taurus TCP .380. How many girls do you know that get bullets and tire irons for Christmas? He also got me one of those Garmin GPS Navigator's for my car. Maybe he thinks I get lost a lot? Oh, and he got me this really cool wood framed picture of 3 girls riding horses and a cowboy riding off into the sunset with an Australian Shepherd. I will take a picture of that someday when I get my computer fully up running and post it. Anyways that is just a few of the items I received.
I hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas and a New Year is coming! Yeah!

I have a long-time friend that used to buy me power tools as presents all the time. I love those kinds of presents...Things that you use often and always makes you remember the someone who gave it to you.
Hi Cousin! It sounds like you were a good girl this year. I bet you are so glad to have a computer again! I think you'll like Windows 7 when you figure it out. It's pretty efficient. I heard you guys went shooting. Wish I could have seen your sister, I would almost pay $ to see that!
Hang in there, things will get better, they can't get much worse right?!
Glad your back in business with a new computer!! I just got a new one too and I know exactly what you mean about the keyboard! I HATE my new one!!

Glad you're back, we missed you! Your OH did good!
Glad to see you're back.
Guys can be pretty good about gifts. They are all about things you need, which is good with me!
Hopefully your new year's resolution isn't weight loss with all those mixes:)
WELCOME BACK! I am so glad that your OH got you a computer for Christmas. He is quite the OH, isn't he? It's really community service--your having a computer. Your blog is so much fun to read, it makes me happier. Plus, I learn a lot from it. So you see, your OH did a great thing by dashing out into the rabble on the last shopping day! MERRY MERRY to you, your OH and ALL of your animals!
Glad to hear you are back up and running with a computer. Withdrawal is not fun. LOL
Tire irons and bullets are quite a combination but if that's what makes you happy, that's cool!.
I got the same GPS and considering both our adventures getting to Tulsa it's probably a good idea. I know Tulsa is what I had in mind when I requested it. LOL
It's good to see that you are back and just remember life is always filled with ups and downs. This too shall pass.
Sweet--congratulations on getting back into cyberspace with us. Sounds like your OH is a pretty sensitive guy and loves you!!
Look forward to some updates now on little Chance.
Good to have you back! Those are some interesting gifts you received. Besides the mixes though, they sound right on the mark.I'm sorry that you had some kind of Christmas spoilage going on. Here's to a superb 2011!
Welcome back! Glad you got a new computer. You did make a haul for Christmas! Sorry to hear there's some holiday stress going on. Hope that makes way for a fabulous 2011 for you.
Merry Christmas - a few days later :).
I'm glad you got a new computer 'cause I missed reading your blog!!
It took me a bit to get used to Windows 7 but now I absolutely love it. I don't think I'd ever want to go back to XP. I'm glad you got a new computer. :)
Sounds like you got some good stuff. I got all cooking stuff this year (that was not planned or coordinated) and I think they are all trying to hint at something . . . I'll get back to them when I figure it out lol.
Oh and I'm totally a tire iron and bullets kind of girl too. :D
I am so sorry your Xmas was not your normal one...mine was not either :( Your OH is a good man...when are you gonna marry him...I need an AUNT of the BRIDE dress!!!
Hurray for the new computer. That was a great gift. I need a new one too, but yeah, it is a pain to switch from old to new. You got some great gifts! I'm glad Christmas is over too. I didn't have time for it this year. Hopefully next year will be more normal.
