The Secret Is Out!

For those of you that did not know, my sister, Ranch Girl just recently had to give her bay roan QH mare Loretta back to her previous owner due to some health issues that my sister tried so hard to resolve. It was a very difficult time for my sister, and I know it was not an easy decision for her to let that lovely mare go. My sister and I are very much alike, when we get an animal, it is pretty much with us for life. That is just how we roll. So I know how extremely upset she was with the whole situation.

I had mentioned last week that my sister was coming up and that we had "somewhere" to be. That "somewhere" was to go look at a new horse for her. So my sister, her ranch boy, my OH and I went to see a 2 year old Mustang filly that Tracey of Mustang Diaries has had. Some of you that follow Tracey may have heard of this filly by the name of Bad Reputation. Well, I was super excited because from what Tracey told my sister, this horse sounded perfect for her. I know exactly what kind of horse my sister likes and when we got to Tracey's trainers barn, Bad Rep did not disappoint. For a 2 yr old, she was so calm and quiet. She didn't care about all the activity going on in the barn. She was a kind, sweet and gentle filly with an extremely good mind. Just the kind of horse my sister likes.

I think my sister fell in love. I would too if I was looking for a horse of my own. I do not want to say too much because I want my sister to be able to continue telling you all about her. So please check back on her blog for more details that are coming. 

I am so super excited for my sister right now. I can't believe I converted my sister into a Mustang owner!! Who would have thought that was going to happen? In a couple of years my sister and I will be blazin' trails on our Mustangs! Now what could be better then that?!?
