I'm Famous!

Okay, maybe not that famous. But if you click here of The Northwest Horse Source magazine and go to page 34, you will find my sister and I trail riding our horses Fritzy and her "boy" in an advertisement. Tracey from Mustang Diaries asked our permission to use a photo she took of us on a trail ride for an ad she was doing for Equiscience feed. Of course we did not mind. I mean who wouldn't take the opportunity to become famous? Okay, again, not so famous. No one knows who we are, but I think it's pretty cool!

On another note, I am really excited for the next couple days. My cousin Betsy is coming up tomorrow morning to spend a couple days. She is bringing her beautiful Tennessee Walker gelding Durango with her. I have a couple big rides planned. I am super excited to show her the trails that we ride on up in our part of the world. Who knows, maybe we can have a pony cousin get together up here someday!?! The weather isn't looking to promising, so we will see how rained out it gets. Can you believe it's June 10th and my pastures are still mud? They dried out for 2 weeks in May when we had some nice weather, but it's pretty much rained ever since. I'm starting to wonder if Summer will ever come, or if it will just rain for the next couple months too. It wouldn't surprise me. 

I worked at the farm for a few days last week while they were all away at a horse show. It was good to see all the beautiful Arabians again, but my back did not hold up well. Now I definitely know that handling that many horses everyday really affected my back. I work at the farm next week too. So I will have this week for my back to recover, then back to pain.
