Chores Complete- Check!

This was not what I had planned to post about today. But I could not get my pictures from my camera to download to my computer and after an hour of pure frustration on why the heck they would not download...... I gave up. I am extremely ticked off. I have never had a problem doing that before and after troubleshooting my camera from my computer, which says everything is okay, it still will not work. So I had to change my posting plan and use pictures from my cell phone. At least that works!

Okay, enough complaining. I have been so busy with chores and running errands here, there and everywhere that I have not had any computer time! So finally here I sit on this cold, wet day with my absolutely precious tuxedo, Madison curled up in my lap. As long as she stays asleep, I will get this post completed. She has a tendency to bat the mouse off the computer desk, which finds me crawling under the computer desk to track down the mouse, only to have her do the same thing over and over. Apparently she finds this to be a really fun game..... I don't. 

I had appointments all last week for my car to get serviced, the truck needed to go back to the GMC dealer to program the 2nd key fob and the truck had an appointment to get the spray-on bedliner, which I waited 4 hours for it to get done. But it was worth it! It sure is pretty when it is brand new!

We had some fence repair to do in Chance's pasture. She spent the week over with Brandy. It rained off and on all last week, so my OH worked on it a little bit throughout the week. Down by the gates it was all the 2 x 4 horse fencing, which did not have the electric running along the top in this area. We did not want to run electric there because that is where we feed and pet the horses. So we took all that down and put up 3 rail fencing with the 2 x 4 horse fencing to keep dogs and other critters out.

I sure wish we could do our entire property in this kind of fencing. It looks so nice. But that would be so expensive!

Once my OH got the fence done, I scrubbed the water trough out and refilled it with fresh water. I then got Chance out of Brandy's pasture and turned her back out into her own pasture!

A closer look.

While my OH was finishing up the fence repair, I got to play with the new pressure washer. Our old pressure washer died on us a couple years ago, so I have not been able to pressure wash and it really needed to be done! I just did the back deck, patio and sidewalk. When we get some warmer weather I will do the front deck, sidewalk and paved parking area out front.

Look at the difference! It definitely was way too long in between pressure washings!

Our old pressure washer wasn't very powerful, and the new one nearly did me in! I thought it was going to blow me off the deck with all the grime! But it did a fantastic job and my deck looks brand new again. We will need to stain it again. We also added hanging flower baskets and the flower pots on the deck are new too. I am trying to get our yard back to what it used to look like, all pretty with flowers and no weeds! I am slowly getting there in between all the rain.

Yesterday we went on another trail ride with a couple friends. The horses were absolutely awesome and my little Arab was in the lead almost the whole way! In fact, she was so far out in front of the pack I just could not stop laughing. My friends were on 2 Paints (a black and white tobiano and a bay and white tobiano) and of course Fritzy is a b/w Paint and I would turn around to talk or see where they were and I was basically on my own trail ride! But it was so cute seeing those 3 Paints waaay back there!  

And the report on the new truck towing my horsetrailer........... AWESOME!! I did NOT expect anything different. I drove on the way to the trailhead and I let my OH drive home. He loved it! I don't think he misses the old truck one bit!! Now I can't wait to go on my first long haul!!
