Too Cute Not To Share!

I was going through some pictures and came across some of my crazy Aussie's that brought back a lot of memories. I believe every picture has a story to tell, so here is a small sampling of some cute, goofy and funny dog pictures!

Bailey's first trip to the river. We only had him for 3 days when we took him for a swim.He wasn't very happy.

Can you find Sadie in this litter? She actually was in a litter of 9 pups. I just couldn't fit them all into this picture!

Sadie's first home visit. I think Bailey is very happy to have a new playmate!

Here's my OH, he's very proud of our new little girl.

Here I am, very proud of my new little princess. In the background are my 2 older dogs, that I had to put down that year.

This has to be one of my favorite pictures of Sadie. So young and innocent. I wonder what happened?

The days of "gentle" playing. I don't get to see that anymore. Don't you just love puppy frog legs?

Sadie's first river adventure!

Sadie just adores us. She always sits at our feet and looks into our eyes. I have so many pictures of this same pose. This was back in her "helicopter" days, where she would jump straight up, and spin a 360 in the air, without touching the ground. She can't stay in the air as long anymore, but she does pounce a lot!

Doggy play day. My OH's dad likes to bring his Coonhound/Rotty mix, Marlow, over for playtime!

Givin' some love. It is so fun watching these 2 run at full speed non-stop.

I think Sadie is a little jealous! Bailey has found a new friend!

The sweet, adorable Bailey Boo!

The unforgettable snow storm, where we got over 2 feet of snow that lasted for over 2 weeks. We aren't used to that much snow and for that long! My OH had to push a wheelbarrow in this to feed the horses. It was not an easy task! Let's hope that we don't have to go through this again!

This is what happens when you mix Australian Shepherds and snow. You get lots of snowballs!

Oh goodness! What do we have here? Is there a dog in this picture? Ahh, yes, it is my princess, Sadie, in the snow!

I can't leave out my OH, here he is unloading and stacking hay! I don't think he is very happy, but it is probably because I am taking a picture of him doing all the work!

Hope you all enjoyed a look back on the crazy Aussie's! I am sure there will be many more crazy adventure's!

Those Aussies, what cool dogs! The snow pictures brought back memories of last year. Do you realize we are just abut 8 weeks from that period last year!!

I cant imagine pushing a wheelbarrow to feed in that deep snow. It was hard enough to walk!

It's amazing how short-lived puppydom is. So cute, but so rambunctious, so it's probably good that they do grow up.

Love those aussies! I grew up with a full size Aussie and now we have mini Aussie and he is just an energy fireball...Here in Minnesota the mini Aussie many times over the season turns into a large walking snowball - it is a hoot! Great pictures - love the puppy pics!

Love the photos! My Labrador, Jet, did "frog legs" all the years of her life. Now, my mom's Lab/Chow mix, Eby, does that too. In our house, we call it "puppy frog" like puppy dog!

I used to have blue aussie just like your sadie except ours had a blue eye. She was nuttier than a fruit cake and generally not a nice dog but as head of ranch security she was great.

They are beautiful dogs. Thanks for sharing your puppy shots.

So, my BO was asking me about Aussies, a friend of his is looking to get one. I've only ever been around 2 and both were fanstastic dogs. One was my step-dad's. Snicker was a working dog deluxe. The other belonged to a guy I trained horses for and he was a super nice dog too. But lately I have heard a lot of stories about irratic Aussie temperments and I was wondering if anyone could give me some tips to pass on to BO's friend so hopefully he ends up with an Aussie like I'm used to and not one of the ones with a less than desirable temperment. He has kids!
