A Teaser!

I am back from our annual Pony Cousin's Stampede!! Wow! What a trip! I swear it gets better every year! I don't have a lot of time to get a lot said or shown, so I will leave you with a couple teaser's of our trip. I just got back today and I am exhausted!! I can't wait to sleep in my own bed, and hopefully get rid of these achy muscles I have from so much riding!

My sis and I arrived quite early the first day and got our horses settled into their new "homes" for the week.

The view from our cabin of the ranch horses turned out to pasture. Isn't it amazing!?!

Why is Pony Girl leading her horse on the trail?

Who got to ride this big guy and claim him for the week for their very own?

This guy just wanted to hang out with us by the horse trailers.

Best friends!

We didn't stay in the teepee's this year, but we still got to ride to them.

Who is trying to sneak into our kitchen?

A very famous spotted butt!

The best scenery while trail riding!

The only way I can take a picture of myself while riding!

The evening ride when Brandy's "Hyde" personality came out.

Why am I blindfolded? And did I get to keep my "Rodeo Queen" title and the tiara?

Brandy is soooo happy to be home! My OH was busy while I was gone and repaired a fence of ours that Fritzy destroyed. See that beautiful wood fence on the left? He did a great job!! I knew I kept him around for something!!

Our trip went way too fast, it feels like we just got there and should have a few more days together. We had an amazing time and there is a lot to tell! It will take me some time to get all the pictures sorted out. So enjoy the teasers I have left for you. There is a lot more to come!

Even though we had a blast, I am so happy to be home. I missed all of my pets dearly, and yes, I did miss my OH too! Unfortunately my OH became sick while I was gone, and even though he was sick, he still took his time to repair a section of our fence! What a guy!

OH did good on the fence. We can hardly wait to hear more about the trip. It looks wonderful. Where did you go? It reminds me of Oregon.

Great teasers. That fence looks so great, it's amazing how a little thing like a wooden fence can just change the look of the property! It was a fun trip, getting home yesterday I was very, very sad. I was so proud of how you handled your little gaming pony during those rodeo events, she's a quick little stinker, who knew you'd ever ask to her gallop full out and she would?! And even on the trail when she had her anxiety attack, which I know is frustrating for you, but, luckily, is now so infrequent that it's probably hardly a blip on your weekend!

Glad you had a great time... now to tackle that mountain of laundry I'm sure you've accumulated! lol
Even though it was fun it must be nice to sleep in your own bed again? And see your critters and OH.

I am excited to hear the whole story about your trip. Great teaser with wonderful photos as usual. I love the photo of you in shadow. A famous street photographer used to always put his shadow in the picture!

I hope the weather was better than last year. I hate riding in 95-100 degree weather. Funny, it never bothered me when I was a kid! lol Great pictures, can't wait for more and more tales. Why was PG walking anyway?
