Happy Father's Day

Happy Father's Day to my wonderful dad! He is the greatest! He is always there for me, he is the reason I turned out the way I did, a big animal lover! He has become very attached to my mom's horse Dusty, and I am hoping he can get a horse of his own someday.

We are going to go on a little trip down memory lane. Here's my dad giving love to Bailey.

Here he is again, but this time giving love to Dusty.

I remember when I was young, going fishing with him, I guess that is where that fishing bug came from. I also remember very clearly, I don't know if he remembers this, he went out fishing with either my grandpa or a friend, that part isn't clear. But when he came home, he told me to close my eyes and hold my hands out. I did not want to do that. I was so scared of what he was going to put in my hands. I eventually did close my eyes and held out my hands. He put a big turtle in my hands. Nothing to be scared of! He had caught the turtle while out fishing, and brought it home for us girls. We kept the turtle down in the old chicken coop and named him Touche. He disappeared one day. I remember being very upset that the turtle was gone.

Here I am holding a fish, I am sure it is one my dad caught! I think the fish weighs more than me! That is my dad on the left. Now remember, this was back in the early 80's, so please excuse the clothes and hair-do!! I am sure my dad caught the fish, than gave it to me for the photo opportunity.

Like I said earlier, my dad is a huge animal lover. This here is a picture of my dad a long time ago, holding my childhood cat, Mingo.

My dad loves old cars. Here I am taking a ride with him, in his '64 Corvette. Correct me if I am wrong dad, it is a '64, right? He loved that car, and I can't blame him one bit! I would like to say, whoever took this picture, should have at least gotten the whole car!

My dad is very goofy. I love that about him. He can make anyone laugh.

This is my OH, fishing with my dad. This had to be approximately 13 years ago.

I am so lucky to have a dad like mine. He is the best. And I want to wish him a very happy Father's Day! I hope you enjoy your day, dad!

I'd also like to say Happy Father's Day to all the dads out there!
