Honest Scrap Award!

I received this award from City Girl Turned Country Girl. Thank you so much Michelle! You are so awesome, and I just love coming over to visit you and your family! You are the sweetest person, and have an incredible family and beautiful horses!

The honest scrap award comes with a caveat or two. First, you have to tell your readers 10 things about you they may not already know, but are true. Second, you have to tag 10 people with the award. Third, you have to let the people you've given the award too, know that they've received this award from you. Finally, make sure you link back to the person who awarded you.

Ok, are you ready for some honest scrap about me? Are you sure? It could get ugly!

1. This is too funny, because like City Girl Turned Country Girl, I have one of the same things that bother me. I have to wear socks or slippers in my house, or in anyone's house! I don't like to walk barefoot anywhere! I also wasn't this way when I was younger. This has been an issue of mine for the last 10 yrs or so.

2. I am also a night owl. I prefer staying up late, and than sleeping in late. This can be a problem. I like to get up early to get things done, but I find myself staying up too late, to get up early. I have always been this way. I am also not a morning person. My OH has learned to not wake me up, until I am good and ready to be woken up. I need my own space in the morning.

3. I have an intense fear of spiders and snakes. It can get so bad, I will wake my OH up in the middle of the night (remember I am a night owl) to kill a spider for me. But it has to be a huge spider before I will wake him up.

4. I love to cook, but prefer not to cook. Does that make sense? I love to try new recipe's, but so does my OH. So I just let him do most of the cooking.

5. I am not a girly-girl. I mean, I love to dress up, but I also am a big jeans, t-shirt, sweatshirt kinda girl. I can keep up with any guy, meaning I can 4-wheel, ride quads, play pool, play basketball, play horseshoes, shoot guns, go fishing, and keep up with them all. I actually have been known to out shoot, out play and out fish all the guys I know.

6. While I was in middle school, a lot of the kids would call be anorexic or bulemic, because I was so skinny. But I am not, I just have a very high metabolism, I can eat whatever I want, and not gain weight. That always bothered me when I was young, that my peers would think this about me, just because I was very thin.

7. I have never broken a bone. Well, ok, I have broken a rib. But when I say I have never broken a bone, I mean a bone, like an arm, ankle, leg, hand or wrist. Never. I must have the strongest bones ever! Especially for someone being only 104 lbs! All the times I fought horses in my youth, or the couple times I came off of horses, riding quads, playing sports for fun, river rafting, I have very dangerous hobbies, and I haven't broken a bone! All I have done is torn ligaments, cartilage, and a darn bulging disc in my neck.

8. When young, I had pen pals. It was a great way to meet people and share our love of horses. I am still friends with a couple of them. We email each other, see each other as often as we can. I think this is why I am enjoying blogging so much. It lets me meet a lot of people, like I did as a youngster, and start new friendships.

9. I have never been stung by a bee. At least not that I can remember. Maybe my mom can tell you otherwise. But, when we were getting hay the other day, the place had those white bee trap thingy's, and the bees were flying everywhere! They were zipping all around us, I was telling my OH, that we needed to hurry. I did not want to piss those bees off and get stung for the first time!!

10. The inside of my car still looks brand new, just like the day I drove it off the lot, 8 yrs ago. I hate messy, dirty cars. I don't like people eating food in my car, one of my fears is that someone will spill something, and it will leave a big mess. I also feel dirty if the inside of my car is dirty. My OH doesn't feel the same way about his vehicles. So when I go get in the truck, I start to feel dirty. Strange, I know! Maybe I should put plastic down throughout the inside of my car! Than if something gets spilled, I can just change the plastic!

Ok, I guess it didn't get too ugly. But I hope you enjoyed some honest things about myself!
Now here are the people I'd like to give the Honest Scrap Award too:

Alright I have to tell you - that when I read your list I came to #10 and misread it. I though you said the inside of your "ear" was still clean. HA! LOL! Of course after being fairly confused I went back and re-read it, and was relieve to see "car" instead of ear - but it made me totally laugh to myself. :)
